O2 have finally changed the tarrifs for the iPhone making them better deals than before.

O2 said: “Customers on a £35 per month contract will get three times more minutes and more than double the number of texts than before.” Customers currently get 200 minutes and 200 texts for their £35.

The £55 a month tariff is being removed and customers will get the same 1200 minutes and 500 text for £45 or you can upgrade to the £75 tarriff for 3,000 minutes and 500 texts.

Data usage has been changed to an “excessive usage policy”, which I’ve asked O2 to clarify:

* All O2 tariffs are now subject to this policy, not just the iPhone.

* The new limit is said to be gigabytes, but O2 have not given a specific number.

* If a customer is using too much then O2 will contact them, rather than just disconnecting service or charging.
