I get a strange feeling that I’ve seen Nvidias new card before, and I’m not the only one. Turns out that Nvidia have been a little bit naughty and have renamed the 9800 GTX+ as the GTS 250. The GPU is exactly the same, but the card now has 1Gb of DDR3 RAM and only needs one power connector.

Some of you may also remember that the 9800 GTX+ was not exactly a new card either. It was a rename of the 8800 GTS with slightly higher clock speeds and support for 3-way SLI and Hybrid SLI.

The GTS 250 (aka 9800 GTX+, aka 8800 GTS) is set to be launched at around £100.
